Eggs were fluffy and the cheese was melted on the egg, bacon cooked just right not undercooked and not burnt, the ham wasn’t dried out, my Texas toast was buttery, I can go on and on I really appreciate this place. First time there but won’t be my last.

Ordered a grill chicken omelette. And grits. It was okay. Service was good. I’d recommend and try again.
Michelle’s customer service was excellent. She has such a beautiful spirit. She made sure our food was prepared just right - nothing was missing! I ordered an egg white veggie omelette with spinach/broccoli. This is what I would typically order from other coney grills, but they were very light on the veggies making it look flat. But the meat omelettes looks like it’s sitting on high-hill and filled with grease-Ugghh! However, this veggie omelette from Mary’s was on point!!! Plus, they sell dishes outside of the norm coney grille: meatloaf, salmon, catfish, etc. I will definitely make this my fav coney.
The food is better than most coney islands. But check your receipt. Their sales tax is set higher than 6%. And they add a fee for credit card payments before they know your payment method. I’ve told the cashier three times and they still haven’t fixed it saying it’s a programming issue. How hard is it to change a percentage? Not hard at all. Per bill it’s just a few cents or a $1. But multiply that by how many go there. And, when you order wings or a pita, you have to buy dipping sauces. Every other coney gives you at least 1 ranch with wing dings and pita. So, it’s highly irritating when people are sticklers about their money, but, will still cheat you out of yours. Went again today and I guess you have to order extra chili to get a whole scoop of chili on chili fries. Barely covered the surface. I’ve only eaten about 7 fries and the chili is gone! To the owner: Your sales tax was more than 6% for over a year. If I’m sharp enough to catch it, please believe I wasn’t confusing it with the credit card fee you charge. Since you’re so quick to respond, how much extra money did you steal before you fixed it? I called about it in three separate occasions. Response: The chili was just on the surface. Should chili fries not have chili throughout? Look how much is left. Close to $6 for mostly fries. So better and stop just trying to snap.
